GOLD COAST CONVENTION CENTRE
As the GCCEC is considered a construction site up to and including Friday 10 July 2026, no access is permitted before Saturday 11 July 2026 from 7:00am.
Exhibitors with large equipment (e.g. fridges) may deliver these items from Thursday 9 July 2026 from 7:00am, coordinated with the Expo Operations team. A Metcash Food team member will be on-site to receive deliveries.
Please note: no general move-in is permitted on Thursday 10 July.
Up to two members of your company may access the exhibition floor for one hour only on Friday 10 July to confirm equipment and stock have arrived.
Move-in times will be provided to all registered exhibitors two weeks prior to Expo. Please adhere to your allocated time, as early arrival causes congestion.
The venue is a construction zone during move-in and move-out. Children are not permitted during these times but are allowed during Expo opening hours.
If your time is unsuitable, email the Expo Ops Team at expo@metcashfg.com. Please explain why it won’t work and include preferred alternatives.
Yes. During move-in and move-out, you must sign in and wear a high-vis vest. During Expo hours, your name badge must be worn at all times. You may be asked to show identification whenever entering or exiting the venue.
Yes, but only with prior approval. All vehicles used as part of your display must comply with OH&S requirements and be registered and approved in advance.

Vehicles include cars, bikes, trucks, boats, caravans and trailers.
Yes. Security staff will direct vehicles, and Metcash marshals and GCCEC staff will assist. Pallet jacks and trolleys will be available. Access is via the Gold Coast Highway through the undercover car park.
Please note: space is limited, and no vehicle may be left unattended on the dock.
Only guide, hearing and assistance animals are permitted (as defined by legislation). No other animals are allowed without approval from the Expo Operations Team.
If you intend to cook (beyond basic preparation), you must indicate this during registration. Health, fire safety and cooking restrictions may apply. Notify the Events Team so appropriate procedures can be arranged.
Storage is limited and not guaranteed. Exhibitors needing storage should include a storage area within their stand. Metcash and GCCEC accept no responsibility for personal items. Do not leave valuables, laptops or prizes unattended.
Industrial bins will be available on Saturday and Sunday. Please ensure your team disposes of waste in these bins after setting up
Yes. Parking is located at the northern end of the GCCEC and accessible via the Gold Coast Highway or TE Peters Drive. Undercover parking (2.1m clearance) is available at a $15 daily flat rate.

MEALS
Tea and coffee will be available. A BBQ breakfast/lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday from 8:00am, with a $6 donation supporting a local charity.
Yes. Lunch and light refreshments will be available in the Exhibitor Break Area located on the tradeshow floor near the ExpoNet Operations desk.

Possibly. The location may be able to be changed, however you will need to make a request via email to the Expo Ops Team at expo@metcashfg.com.
Booth locations are not guaranteed and changes depend on availability.
Yes. Ensure your company has fully insured all equipment and stock for the duration of Expo. If not already arranged, please organise this before the event begins.

DEALS & ORDERS
New lines must have a Metcash item code before deals or orders can be entered. All new lines must be ranged in warehouses at least one month prior to the first delivery window.

No. Expo deals are additional to existing promotional programs and do not stack with other deals.
Expo deals are usually claimed through Metcash via the standard claims process. Tobacco suppliers have an additional option to receive payment directly from the retailer in cash. No other categories are eligible for the cash claim method.
